As a Wichita Falls native and graduate of Midwestern State University, I am honored to serve my hometown community. Located in the heart of downtown, you will find a warm, welcoming and supportive environment.
I work with children ages 8 and up, helping them develop emotional regulation skills, improve distress tolerance, and build self-esteem. With my experience in PHP/IOP settings, I have extensive knowledge in supporting children and adolescents who struggle with self-harming behaviors and suicidal ideation, providing them with the tools they need to navigate their emotions in a healthier way.
I have extensive experience helping aging adults navigate age-related concerns, including transitions, loss, and identity shifts. In addition, I have a passion in working with individuals coping with medical trauma, chronic pain, and suffering, offering a compassionate and holistic approach to healing.
I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and am Certified in Neuropsychotherapy. Additionally, I hold an ADHD-PT certification, equipping me with specialized tools to support individuals with ADHD. I also preform ADHD testing for clients and the general public.
My experience spans various therapeutic settings, including Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), inpatient care, and private practice. This diverse background has given me a broad perspective on working with both individuals and families, allowing me to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs.
I believe in the power of collaboration and individuality in therapy. Together, we will create practical steps to navigate life’s challenges, build self-compassion, and foster lasting change.
