Our EMDR intensives are designed to provide deep, comprehensive therapy sessions that facilitate accelerated recovery, helping you reclaim your life with courage, support, and compassion.

What Are EMDR Intensives?

EMDR intensives in our practice are concentrated therapy sessions that span one to several days, as opposed to traditional weekly appointments. Our immersive experience allows for continuous, uninterrupted progress, enabling you to delve deeply into the root causes of your distress and work through them more efficiently. Each intensive is tailored to your unique needs, ensuring that you receive the most effective and personalized care possible.

The Power of Intensives vs. Regular EMDR Therapy

Traditional EMDR therapy typically involves one-hour sessions conducted once a week. While this approach is beneficial for many, it can sometimes prolong the healing process, especially for those with complex trauma or who are experiencing significant distress. EMDR intensives, on the other hand, provide a concentrated therapeutic experience, allowing for sustained focus and momentum in your healing journey.

Some of the key benefits of EMDR intensives are:

  • Accelerated Healing
Intensives provide the opportunity to address multiple traumatic memories and associated negative beliefs in a shorter period, often leading to quicker and more profound relief.

  • Reduced Delays
With back-to-back sessions, there is less time for re-traumatization or new stressors to interfere with your progress, enhancing the continuity and effectiveness of treatment.

  • In-Depth Processing
The extended time frame allows for a deeper exploration of issues, facilitating comprehensive processing and integration of traumatic experiences.
